The Anglo Saxon Church grew out of the British Church as well as the Augustinian mission of Rome. It was also highly influenced by the Anglo Saxon culture of the warrior hero which helped create a distinct form of medieval Christianity. This is something we want to see restored to modern Anglicanism which is the heir to the old Anglo Saxon Church. The following articles explore these issues.
